George Federoff Alaska Studio Craft Wood Canoe Bowl

Shipping to United States: Free

George Federoff was a Russian born woodworker and craftsman who eventually emigrated to the US, primarily Alaska. He was a highly influential figure and teacher giving workshops and lectures around the US. He eventually took a job helping the native peoples of Alaska to help revive and unintentionally modernize their arts and crafts.

This bowl is made of hand carved and shaped of an exotic wood. I'm unsure but I belive it might be curly and ringed Bubinga.
One spot on the bottom has separated naturally along the grain. Other than that it has been meticulously restored as it had been badly water damaged.
